Frequently asked questions
Answers about SongPlaylists, energy arcs, AFCUT, credits, and how your library becomes sets that flow.
SongPlaylists builds playlists from audio analysis — energy, tempo, key, and feel — powered by AFCUT, the shared audio intelligence layer.
A set is what SongPlaylists produces: your tracks ordered by energy arc, tempo band, and key compatibility, with the reasoning visible — exportable to wherever you play.
AFCUT is the audio intelligence layer underneath SongPlaylists and the wider ProduceHits suite. It turns real-world audio into the timing, structure, and stems that SongPlaylists works from.
No. SongPlaylists runs on your ProduceHits account — one login, one shared library, and one credit pool that works across every product in the suite.
Bring audio you own, created, licensed, or have the rights to process. SongPlaylists is built for real-world audio — including lossy MP3s and dense or live-feel material — not just clean demo files.
No. SongPlaylists orders real music you bring. Nothing is generated from a prompt — every set is built from your library's actual audio.
Credits are consumed as you process audio and run workflows. One ProduceHits pool funds everything you do across the suite, so SongPlaylists and every other workflow draw from the same balance.
Yes. A single credit pool works across SongPlaylists and every other ProduceHits product, so credits go wherever your work does.
When a song has already been processed anywhere in the suite, SongPlaylists can reuse the existing stems, timing, and analysis — so working from a track you already processed costs less and starts instantly.
SongPlaylists is part of the ProduceHits lineup rolling out through early access, alongside SongChop and the other suite tools. See the Products page for the current lineup.
More focused audio products are coming to the suite — for loops, stems, transcription, remix prep, choreography, podcasts, marketing, and more. Join early access to get notified.
Yes. Every track you process stays in your library, so the same source becomes more valuable as you reuse it and as the suite grows new products around it.
Only content you own, created, licensed, or otherwise have the rights to process. You're responsible for the rights to the audio you upload and for how you use the output.
No. ProduceHits is a creative tool, not a rights-clearance or license-clearing service. Clearing rights for your material is your responsibility.
No. Processing privately inside your account is different from publicly distributing finished material. Public sharing, storefronts, and marketing pages need rights-aware judgment.
No. ProduceHits does not sell or rent your personal information. Your data is used to operate your account, process your audio, and provide support.
Outputs you create from audio you have the rights to are yours to use in your own projects, subject to our content-rights and acceptable-use terms.
Your uploads and library live in your account and power your workflows. See our Trust & Safety and Legal pages for how we approach rights, privacy, and durability.
